U-18 Boys White Team Wins U-19 Division of the Mid-American
Soccer Classic
Fairfield, OH: Outscoring their opponents 14-5, the
Cincinnati United Premier U-18 Boys (White Team) won
every game and were named Champions at the Mid-American
Soccer Classic on
April 9-10, 2005. Playing up one
age group, the CUP U-18 Boys White Team soundly trounced
international favorite Windsor, Ontario FC Nationals
in the Championship Game by a score of 3-1 under sunny
skies and on a challenging lumpy playing surface. In
order to reach the Championship Game, the CUP Boys
won every game in their bracket, and earned a spot
in the Championship Game against the Windsor FC Nationals
Team which had won the other U-19 bracket. The CUP
Boys U-18 White Team is coached by Frank Zuccala.

Boys U15 White Win PRF United Cup
The
CUP Boys U15 White select soccer team continued the
proud winning tradition of the Cincinnati
United Premier Soccer Club by winning the PRF United
Cup tournament. CUP
White
took a 3-0 record into the finals and defeated a very
good Brazilian Strikers team from Northern Kentucky
despite having only 1 field player substitute. Scoring
was lead by Nike Kane who had 3 goals, two of them
beautiful headers off crosses from the corner. Garrett
Szabo and Kevin Donnelly each chipped in with multiple
goals to keep CUP White moving forward in the tournament.
The Midfield was anchored by Wes Jones and new comer
Anthony Meyer, with Eric Gast, Chris Banner, and Kendall
Lewis on the outside. The Defense played brilliantly
with Michael Orth, Drew Hodun, and Danny Elmore shutting
down offensive attacks from the opposition. Omair Hussain
and Tony Baldrick split time in goal giving up 1 goal
and 1 PK the entire weekend. The sweeper, Tim Brady,
was awarded the team trophy for outstanding play. Danny
Coombs leant moral support from the sidelines due to
injury, even during the cold and rain. The team is
coached by David Spaccarelli and trainer Rick Roettker.
